4 secret weapons by maestro Kapote. Rare disco and early hip House tracks from the late 1970ies/early 1980ies reworked for Kapote’s own DJ sets. Released due to high demand!
Green vinyl.
Luv Shack Records is celebrating 10 years with a set of classic tracks from the back catalogue getting remix treatments for todays dancefloors on the Retroscope 01 EP.
Two brand new tracks by Art Of Tones with The Funk District on remix duty. Crazay sounds like the perfect radio tune AND a true dancefloor filler. Boogie disco-influenced House music with the usual AOT extras : fat bassline, funky beats and guitar riffs - and of course, drumfills ! "Not the same" is a great B side, a deep and melancholic disco track.
DaM-FunK brings his Architecture Trilogy on Saft to a close with a fantastic final EP. The series started in 2016, included the second volume in 2018, and now wraps up with a double 12" packed with heat from the legendary Californian beatmaker.DaM-FunK has been in a class of one since first emerging in 2008. He's a definitive Stones Throw Records artist, musician and vocalist, boss of GlydeZone Recordings, a sometime Snoop Dogg collaborator and prolific producer of tens of EPs, 14 albums and a timeless entry to the DJ-kicks series. What he doesn't know about boogie, g-funk and synth-pop isn't worth knowing, and this final Architecture EP is another doozy.
A real classic from the disco era, one for the countless gems mixed by the champion Jellybean. The Chain Reaction were definitely at the forefront of the US dance scene, and still considered among the most respected and fully talented funk-disco band. The reissue come courtesy of Harold Sargent, the driving mind behind the above mentioned project and Sparkle, Wood, Brass & Steel and Hott Ice to name a few.
