Reflecting over new life, Krasch 3 takes inspiration from a future untold. Noah Gibson returns with a different and more reflective atmosphere. Standing at one point at the dawn of a bright tomorrow: new life. Paired with a technologically backlashed futuristic city scape: piles of illuminated displays, desolate buildings that stand tall as a symbol of a former glory.

Hidden Spheres is the alter ego of Manchester’s Tom Harris, who first made his mark on the underground circuit with his release ‘The Bloos’ on Moods & Grooves, before following it up with the much in demand ‘Waiting’ on Lobster Theremin offshoot Distant Hawaii. Here, Tom joins the Scissor & Thread family, the Brooklyn label founded by Francis Harris, and home to music that traverses a number of boundaries. Hidden Spheres fits right in - the five track 1985 EP blends house, broken beat, ambient, jazz and other elements into a heady brew.
The record’s concept reflects Will’s enormous skill and knowledge as a DJ, and as its title suggests, “represents what I play in a club if an 8 hour set was condensed into 10 tracks.” Having held residencies and made regular appearances at some of the world’s finest clubs including The End and Fabric in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin, Trouw in Amsterdam and Robert Johnson in Offenbach, Saul is uniquely qualified but this refreshingly straightforward approach. Eschewing the lingering, almost cliched expectations for a dance artist to create an album “that sounds good at home, as well as in the club”, ‘Open Too Close’ instead draws on the timeless futurism at the heart of the music that drew Saul into electronic music culture. Simply put, futuristic, melancholic sci-fi soundscapes meets stripped back raw sample driven house music, all executed with the precision and panache of an artist who truly understands how to move a dancefloor.
'Fuck Varg' is Varg2TM (the artist formerly known as Varg) at his most chaotic and ornate. Streamlining a plethora of techniques and motifs into his inimitable and fearless style, there's reckless charm and misanthropy turbulently sequenced to perfection.
