Lilies (BROR Records techno sub label) invites Sandra Mosh for a collaborative release with label head DJ Lily, presenting an original track and one remix each that represent their respective hometowns of Malmo (040) and Gothenburg (031). A record aimed at the intensive hours, Lilies4 brings a fast paced (135+) situation of four effective and steady techno tracks with spacious and full bodied soundscapes.
Across his EP, Ricardo plays with varying textures and arrangements that in turn provide a cross-section of his sound that has expanded and developed over time. 'After The Movie' presents the experimental ambience synonymous with his early works. Stepping up on the remix is Plaid, a pair whose names are etched into the history of UK electronic music. Reworking title track 'After The Movie', they produce an emotive, soundscape complete with droning basslines and ex-terrestrial flourishes.
With his release on Traum Carsten Halm drifts slightly towards a different direction which can be described as a blend of techno with melodic elements all done in a minimalist fashion. Powerful and warm sounding... ready to rock the dance floor. The full length EP will be released on vinyl and will feature a remix by Nils Hoffmann. The artwork was done by Daniela Thiel.
Christopher Rau is back in the house of Smallville. Four irresistible cuts, the keys to outer-worlds. Driving, yet playful. Sweet, yet haunting.
