Produced, mixed and arranged by Acchioni, Cordi, Artusi, Stecca… Amazing Italian Deep house 4 tracks EP released in 1992 on Calypso Records, now repressed by Flash Forward. Essential.
Take your phone, your tablet and your TV and throw them out the window! That’s the spirit and the idea uniting the eight tracks of the album “Out the Window” by Christopher Schwarzwälder & Iannis Ritter. Listening to this otherworldly piece of downtempo electronica will make you feel relieved and excited, as if you had actually removed your electronic shackles for a little while. This album is light and heavy at the same time, it’s in your room and outside, it is loud and quiet like an extroverted introvert. The nature of this album is organic and analogue and simply weird - it’s a juxtaposition of well-known, homey sounds and the strange.
Green vinyl.Mari Mattham joins forces with Hektor Legion for this deep techno collab on Gynoid Limited Series. Also included is a banging remix by Lex Gorrie and an industrial-tech beauty from Xhin.
Purple vinyl.Seemingly out of nowhere comes Scorch, a new name with a fresh take on what some might consider industrial techno. His kicks are relentless, his atmospheres are dark and his approach seems to have some sort of strange, organic feel to it. The EP consists of musical renditions of what would happen if you would visit an old machine factory and install a state of the art artificial intelligence onto the rusty mainframes running the place. Oh... and it would be haunted by a bunch of mythical creatures as well... for absurdism's sake.
Some lovely deep lush house tunes on this one! Karlos Moran continues to release more bonafide classic US Deep House music on his own Moran Music Group label (which was started for him especially by the people behind Klasse Wrecks).
