When Smallpeople went touring Australia for the third time in 2016, we played a gig in Brisbane and had an amazing time hanging with James Hilan, a young gun from the local scene- a heavy vinyl collector and bad-ass DJ. He took us to the Wheel of Brisbane for our first Vape experience ever and after some good laughs we became friends. When James sent over some of his deep yet pumping tracks a few years later, we were blown away and when we played them out at our monthly residency at Golden Pudel in Hamburg, we decided to gave them a home on on Fuck Reality – so here we go! Typography and full cover artwork as always by Stefan Marx.
Red vinyl.Summa Cum Laude finally is ready with a various artists, that describes the soul of the label. In the project are involved names like Collin Strange from LIES Records, Gaja, Belgium's rave legend Coexsystems and Domenico Crisci to name a few. The package contains the power of techno, no prisoners, no compromise at all, the real techno sound.
After extending his reach and releasing music from new artists, Blue Hour returns to the label with his highly anticipated latest solo EP ‘Devotion’. The record is, as described by the artist ‘a personal homage to my early influences in dance music, frequently visited venues or events and shared experiences with close friends’. Written throughout the summer of 2019 while isolated in nature, Blue Hour identifies a common theme and sound palette to translate these ideas across 4 tracks that explore Leftfield, Techno/Trance, Hardcore, and Ambient with UK club culture at its core.
Our first double 12" is written and produced by OutpostLive, Hydrangea, Lunatik, Invite, Rommek, Concept Of Thrill, Beat Movement and Worg.
Haven is kicking off 2020 with a boom with a new EP of politically pessimistic dance-floor-ready weapons from label boss Keepsakes. Following on from his exploration of chunky slow rippers on 2019's "Modern Anxious Vernacular", this next edition in the Haven mastermind's discography puts greater emphasis on rhythmic groove for the dancers among us.
Rotterdam duo Black Cadmium deliver their debut EP on Vault Wax with four Detroit-inspired techno and electro cuts laced with acid.
