The debut “Moover” EP from the young Bulgarian producer and DJ - Raredub (Petar Vasev) on Sofia Records features energetic and emotional music that finds its place equally in those hands-in-the-air moments in the middle of the dancefloor, as well as laying on a carpet in the afterhours. Far from formulaic fast-food dance clichés, SOF005 offers fine and delicate layers but as always with its base in spicy street rawness.

For the seventh release on their main catalogue Keepsakes and Jaded Nineties Raver are once again working with Ireland's top up-and-comer in the world of ridiculous techno bangers, Tommy Holohan, for the second release in his "Skull Crushing Techniques" series. Following on from the success of his debut vinyl release on Haven last year, this release is just as banging, but represents a new turn in the young producer's sound with greater focus on hardcore euphoria.
Kangding Ray consistently fascinates the scene with his unique style that is bridging the dance floor and abstract electronic composition, talking equally to the mind and the body. His first record for Figure spans exactly that arc, introducing to the label something both for headphones as it is built for the big clubs.
Dimi Angelis' eighth release on his ANGLS label is essentially a tale of four brothers. Four separate tracks, clearly related yet with distinctive qualities that sets each of them apart in its own unique way. "Out Of Nowhere" does its name justice by hitting home from its opening bars, throwing a messy sawtooth layered with evolving percussion at the listener. Following suit, "Funky Lizard" is an amalgamy of trippy, filtered arps blended with a classic rhythm section. Damage guaranteed. Third up but musically no where near third place we find the aptly named "Titan", an unabating industrial track that has quite the character as a tool but performs just as well on its own. Fast and gritty. As if forged from the same fire as "Funky Lizard" closer "Automatic" once more takes a turn for the introvert in an almost Millsian fashion by employing driving tonal paths and hissing drums forming a grand conclusion.
André Hommen presents both his first and last album 'More Than This' on his uncompromising label These Eyes. The nine-track LP, is a melodic journey demonstrating the diverse facets of his original sound.
Splattered green & yellow vinyl.Dreamteam pairing of Defaultman and Sapurra collaborate on this highly impressive 3 tracker for Poker Flat Wax. The two have collaborated frequently before, and with this vinyl only release, the juices are really flowing.
