Brooklyn’s finest FaltyDL debuts on Studio Barnhus with two slices of lovestruck rave classicism. Flechazo steadily builds a shifty groove before eur(o)pting into lavish synth themes, New Lover gets straight to the point with razor-cut breakbeats and showstopping sub-bass. Cupid’s ammo for all the deadeye deejays out there.
Mic Mills, "Global Skywatch" boss dog, friend and family man gives us "ILIO002 - Variety Boy". Mic Mills, originally established with the now infamous "Untzz 12 Inch" and "Big Doint" labels, brings us an EP that is as versatile as the title suggests. Take a plunge with us through dubs, drums, synths and acid lines. Joined by long time amigo "Furious Frank" on the A1, Variety Boy then ebbs and flows from start to finish with low end subs, catchy hi's, addictive percussion and lots of "love" to keep you dancing until the cows come home.
Purple vinyl. For our first release we've invited our friends CYRK, to contribute to our new project. They are known for their amazing analog live performances, from state of the art Electro, to sophisticated Techno. This EP contains two hypnotic and dubby Techno compositions plus two remixes from Drumcell and Ravn Jonassen.
R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings bring back their yearly 24.12 compilation, this time featuring Ro-za Terenzi, Lou Karsh, Qnete & New World and Jacques Torrance.
Second album coming from the late Rhys Celeste by Fundamental Records, who are helping to release his unknown works.
When Smallpeople went touring Australia for the third time in 2016, we played a gig in Brisbane and had an amazing time hanging with James Hilan, a young gun from the local scene- a heavy vinyl collector and bad-ass DJ. He took us to the Wheel of Brisbane for our first Vape experience ever and after some good laughs we became friends. When James sent over some of his deep yet pumping tracks a few years later, we were blown away and when we played them out at our monthly residency at Golden Pudel in Hamburg, we decided to gave them a home on on Fuck Reality – so here we go! Typography and full cover artwork as always by Stefan Marx.
