Includes CD.Unlike a lot of peak time, big drop dubstep tunes, the drums on both Clack and Block are not secondary to big wobbles. And are pushed out of the woofer like some entirely new structure, somewhere between the break, the 2, and the dubstep.
Iconic cultural engineer and prolific music pioneer Daniel Miller, aka The Normal responsible for the timeless post-punk / wave classic “Warm Leatherette” and founder of Mute Records, collaborates with avant-techno artist Nicolas Bougaïeff to instigate another revolution with the inaugural release as Populist on Avi Caspi’s newly founded imprint The Temple and The Low Dive.
Electronic duo Atelier excel at riding chillwave to a cooler, moodier sound. Atelier was conceptualized by childhood friends Alexander Inggs and Jaś Miszewski whose love of analog synths, drum machines and effects pedals is revealed in a hardware-heavy live show. The project is a platform for combining their differing musical backgrounds – a blend of house, indie, folk and techno – and has an underlying maturity that emerges in their frank performances and honest productions.
The 'DAT 91-99' EP pieces together long forgotten tracks from the Bristolian production duo 'The Boys From Chariss'. A collection of previously released but obscure and sought after b-side fodder and unreleased gems make up the tracklisting of what could be defined as a retrospective of sorts. All produced within the years of 1991 and 1999, WRECKS027 serves to shine some light on music that still sounds great twenty years later.
For the fourth vinyl release on his label NORD LTD, Shkedul welcomes on board Sev Dah, Specific Objects & Keikari. The result is a dj-friendly record, composed by heavy, mind-blowing techno tools.
The long awaited second release on Obscure Unfound comes from the Manchester duo Kander. Two original Straight up dance floor destroyers & two slamming remixes from Raw's Makornik & Peryl.
