Much needed 2019 repress with alternate label-art... Beware..!
EP + download code including bonus tracks. It's very apt that Powel is the first artist to release on new imprint Dawn till Dusk. The German epitomise music which captivates the mind and frees the soul, a notion the new label will encapsulate. This EP is the perfect start to the new project, music that can translate to desert dancefloors, or soundtrack sunrise/sunsets on the beaches of Ibiza.
Since its release in February, Krystal Klears ‘Euphoric Dreams’ has received incredible support across the board. From a BBC Radio 1 Exclusive, which saw the track sweep all the respective ‘Track of the Week’ accolades on Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Annie Mac’s Dance music shows to incredible support from Boiler Room, Resident Advisor and Mixmag. Running Back’s in-house hit machine KiNK takes on remix duties. Currently riding high on his Piano Power EP. KiNK is known for his love of hardware, from classic 808’s to modular synths, and has created his own brand of free-flowing exploratory house and techno, with interactive live shows and an obsession for music technology. KiNK’s remix offers a prime-time dancefloor destroyer, building on the original’s energy he rethinks the original melodies and combines them with a FM style bass line that cuts throughout the track. A kin to the original from Krystal Klear, it assures peak-time euphoric madness. On the flip KiNK delivers a Drums & Bass mix, stripped down Stevie Poindexter style jack track for those sweaty moments.
Official License of the 1991 Rare classic produced by Jörg Burger for Trance Atlantic Records, now re-pressed by Flash Forward. 4 tracks produced in Germany in Classic Detroit House Style. Hot reissue.
‘R U Happy’… A simple question. But is there a simple answer? Allow Guti and Tripmastaz to look you dead in the eye and find out once and for all. Their first ever collaboration – conjured in a rare real life, real time, real vibe collabo scenario in Tripmastaz Moscow studio – this fact alone should be a reason for happiness. The music seals the deal furthermore; a bubbling analogue bass, relentless jacking beats, filters set to their juiciest coordinates and that insistent loopy vocal sample, there are some serious strong tones of Chicago in the blend. The sharpness of early Trax, the fatness of early Classic and that rolling vibe that captures the essence of house like no other city. If your happiness status relies on more of a French lift then allow D’Julz to take your hand with his remix. Still just as jacking, but with a little more beef in the bass, more dynamic strip-backs and several new layers of funk-riddled filters, if you’re not happy by the time this kicks in, you need to consider some of your lifestyle choices. With the Pets guys and Guti both fresh from big album excursions and Tripmastaz enjoying a rich vein of form on the likes of Tatouffe, Bass Culture and No 19 already this year, all parties are kicking with vitality on this one. Are you happy? We certainly are…
