There is a certain type of weird effect that is generated by strange, repetitive loops. Ultrastation, the new project of Utrecht veterans Cosmic Force and Nuno Dos Santos, know this well. The two have teamed up to deliver '4723 EP' and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them on board, joining our Discos Atónicos family. Expect four slabs of intergalactic pounding, cosmic modulations, deep resonances, repetitive bleeps and strange atmospheres: a kind of 'technoide soundtrack from outer space'. Let's dance outside the laws of gravity.
Newest full LP by Yobkiss who has been active for over a decade now with stunning releases on a multitude of modern labels. Never a dull moment on this well-crafted album. Best described as an emotive journey, YobKiss explores the regions where techno, electro, acid house, and that hard-to-define Dutch sound; all melt into pure analog synth magic.
As Ociya, hardware freaks Tin Man (Johannes Auvinen) and Patricia (Max Ravitz), come together in unholy acid matrimony on a EP (here).
UFO Inc. starts the new decade with fast, dark improv-techno tracks by the New York DJ, producer and singer Heidi Sabertooth. The four tracks on UFO4 are an impressive testimony to her passion for vintage gear and are the result of an interplay of mainly three machines with which she also plays live: Roland SH-101, Korg ESX2 Electribe and Yamaha DX200 - Sabertooth knows her tools inside and out by heart and tried on this EP to sound as "live" and spontaneous as possible.
Purple vinyl. For our first release we've invited our friends CYRK, to contribute to our new project. They are known for their amazing analog live performances, from state of the art Electro, to sophisticated Techno. This EP contains two hypnotic and dubby Techno compositions plus two remixes from Drumcell and Ravn Jonassen.
With its fourth catalogue number, Steinlach returns to the vinyl format with a remix EP. On board are international friends of the label, who layed hands on Wice's originals with outstanding re-interpretations.
